It starts with knowing and understanding your own authentic style. "Your personal style should be a reflection of your personality, not just a reflection of the latest trends."

What is style? Or rather, what isn't style? When I talk about style, I don't mean fashion. Fashion is about the prevailing taste of a time. Fashion is characterized by fleeting trends and is therefore transitory. In a nutshell, fashion fades. Style, on the other hand, remains. Style is an unchanging system of order and becomes ingrained like a character trait. A person who knows their style isn't dependent on fashion dictates or the opinions of others. They know what they need and selectively choose the right pieces from the jungle of fashion trends.

I want to encourage you to become a woman of class and style! Here are ten elements to take into account:

1. Class is a combination of physical, mental, and spiritual attributes. These are reflected in our personal style and behavior. "A signature style is not just about the clothes you wear, but about the way you wear them." (Diane von Fürstenberg) Therefore, know who you are and what you want others to see in you and through your appearance. Don't forget, actions (and your style) speak louder than words.

2. Color: Define your color palette by identifying the colors that complement your skin tone, hair color, and personal preferences.

3. Capsule: Start building a classy wardrobe by adopting the "French style," which is about having fewer but higher-quality items. Develop your basic capsule and add some spice with bolder colors. Add one piece, like a scarf, as an eye-catcher. Keep in mind the principles:

4. Quality: Choose your core wardrobe pieces by investing in timeless, high-quality items that fit well and reflect your personal style (e.g., classic white shirt, tailored blazer, comfortable but classy jeans).

5. Fabric: The texture should harmonize with your body shape and form. Feel free to play with textures and patterns by mixing different textures (e.g., smooth, rough, soft) and patterns (e.g., stripes, polka dots, florals) to add depth and interest to your outfits.

6. Good fit: Keep the balance by pairing wide-legged pants with fitted tops or skinny jeans with loose tops. Pay attention to which cut actually flatters your shape.

7. Accessories matter: Add a personal touch with accessories like jewelry, hats, belts, or shoes.

8. Statement pieces: Incorporate unique, eye-catching items that reflect your personality and style (e.g., bold accessories, patterned scarves, statement handbags).

9. Grooming: Pay attention to your hair, skincare, and makeup routine to complete your overall look. Makeup is a magical tool.

10. Lifestyle: Last but not least, consider your lifestyle: Think about your daily activities, occupation, and social life. What type of clothing and style will make you feel confident and comfortable? Identify your needs: Do you need clothing for specific occasions or activities? What are your must-haves (e.g., comfort, durability, versatility)? Set a budget according to your priorities by determining how much you're willing to spend on clothing and accessories.
