Refine your IMAGE by developing your Signature Look
Today's blog post focuses on your true IMAGE and authentic appearance.
Which slogan resonates more with you: "Look like success" or embody the fact that you are an "IMAGE-Bearer" of God, your Creator?
How can you create a beautiful life and appearance that reflect the MASTERPIECE you are destined to be?
First and foremost, embrace the true essence of your beauty and express it through your IMAGE and SIGNATURE LOOK.
“Mrs. Funk, read the faces. It's all written on the face!” That´s what my trainer said 14 years ago, when I was in Germany receiving my training as an Image Consultant.
Do you find it difficult to look at yourself in the mirror? Then take a look at the radiant faces in the photo. These are just a few of the girls and women I have been able to guide in this process over the past 14 years. They were able to recognize and grasp some of the glory of God that is within them and that is expressed above all through their faces!

♦ You too can shine!
I encourage you today to look closely at yourself in the mirror, especially in the right MIRROR, the mirror of God´s word!
What do you see?
You see a reflection of the glory and beauty of God, because you are an image of God!
Just envision the incredible value and beauty that comes from this! As an image coach, my mission is to assist individuals, particularly women, in recognizing their inner worth and exceptional nature and beauty. I aim to help them express their uniqueness externally through a style that genuinely reflects who they are. That´s what I call “SIGNATURE STYLE” – your personal style, as unique as you are!
When someone seeks my beauty advice, we begin by examining their face in the mirror together. The face is the center of our focus. Throughout the consultation, our primary aim is to enhance the radiance of the face.
“Everything is written in the face.” It is so fascinating to discover this truth over and over again. I love it when I can guide women in the process to recognize the image of God in and within themselves. There is, for example, the nose, which says a lot about your character. Then there are the eyes, they also reflect your personality, your inner light and beauty. "The lamp of the body is your eye; if your eye is clear, your whole body is full of light; but if it is evil, your body is full of darkness." (Luke 11:34)
Additionally, I see your unique color palette reflected in your facial features, including your eye color, skin tone, and hair. Your personal style is also evident in the shape of your face, your facial lines and features, as well as in the consistency of your hair. Of course, we also consider your personality, your preferences, and personal surroundings. The key question is: what style and color combination suits you best, and what do you truly need?
In my coaching practice, I frequently observe how challenging it can be for individuals to reflect on themselves, particularly when they are aware of someone watching. Interestingly, it's often the most outspoken person in the group who suddenly falls silent. Throughout this process, we gradually explore the colors and contours of the face, uncovering their captivating harmony. At first, we study the face in detail in front of a smaller mirror. Next, we stand before a larger mirror, our focus shifts from the face to the body. This is where things become tricky once more. The body language speaks volumes. “Our body is the glove of the soul” (Samy Molcho, famous mime)
I invite you to embrace this journey of exploration and uncover the beautiful ways in which the body's lines and shapes enhance and complement your face, reflect your personality, align with your preferences, and express the essence of your whole being.
The ultimate goal of this image coaching process is to highlight your face and, in turn, showcase your amazing personality more effectively. We want the observer's focus to be on you and your important message, rather than your clothing or your shoes!
It brings me immense joy to witness the transformation—when shoulders lift, expressions become brighter and more joyful, and a radiant presence emerges. In those moments, all I can say is: WOW! Thank you, God!
That´s when my clients realize their WORTH which is so much deeper than just CONFIDENCE, as you can read in the testimonials.
Once you realize your worth, your confidence won´t be shaken easily.
♦What is the difference between SELF-CONFIDENCE and SELF-WORTH?
Self-Confidence is based on external things and therefore fluctuant. It´s based on the achievements and results.
For example:
If I have a “bad-hair-day” that can robe me of my confidence.
Or if my scale doesn’t show the results I wanted to see…
Or if I feel insecure about the choice of my outfit….
In contrast, Self-Worth is based on the deep internal knowing who I really am.
It is about recognizing WHO I really am and how God sees me.
Self-worth is not determined by outcomes or numbers; it comes from an internal understanding that I am deserving of love and capable of giving love in return. It's the recognition that I have a purpose and that I am meant to shine. Understanding my worth and feeling confident in my appearance are two aspects of the same idea, like two sides of one coin, which I refer to as my AUTHENTIC IMAGE. I see myself as a "Work of Art in Progress."

The world encourages be us to conform, but God's word inspires us to stand out and to shine brightly!
