♦In Ps. 8:5 it says that we, as God´s Image Bearers are crowned with honor and glory. As such we are made to reflect and represent God on this earth.
This seems so unreal, because we are ordinary people living in a broken world, with broken relationships. And still, in spite of all our own brokenness, we have the potential to be extraordinary. The choice is yours.
Gene Edwards, the author of “the Tale of Three Kings” compares and contrasts three different kings, three different leadership styles and three different outcomes: King Saul, King David and the short lived King Absalom.
David became the King after God´s heart, because he accepted going through the school of brokenness. This reminds me of a wonderful image.
♥We all are fascinated by diamonds, right? What makes a diamond a diamond?
Did you know, that coal and diamonds have the same chemical composition? In order to become a diamond, the coal has to endure extreme heat and pressure. That is the principle that applies to us as well.
Everyone has the potential of becoming a diamond. But in order to become one, we have to accept God´s school of brokenness: hardships, persecution, rejection, heat and pressure as part of the formation process. Only then after some time, the diamond is ready to be broken and cut. This cutting process includes: planning, cleaving, bruiting and polishing and before it come to the final inspection. The more facets the diamond, the more light it will reflect. And the broken light will come in the colors of the rainbow. This is the perfect picture of your royal beauty.
Remember: Only cut diamonds shine!
• “You are meant to be brilliant and light up a room.” The following I read on an advertisement for Bulova watches. Bulova, designed to be noticed, designed to be brillant. Every detail is handcrafted.
Of course, it was a beautiful watch, but it is only a watch.
You are so much more! YOU were meant to be brilliant and light up the world. The more brokenness, the more will God´s multifaceted light shine through you. The diamond is a symbol of love, commitment, strength, purity, and eternal beauty.
The virtuous woman, the future bride of the young King, described in Prov. 31, her value is far beyond that of pearls or rubies or diamonds. Who is the young King? Spiritually speaking, it´s Jesus Christ. This bride is you and me, the Queen to be. Can you believe it, accept it, live it, train for it?
Have you ever heard of the story “Acres of Diamonds”?
The basic story written by Russell Conwell revolves around a Persian farmer who loses his life and significant wealth looking for a mine of diamonds in other places, when, ironically, his own farm land (which he sold to finance his search for diamonds) literally contained acres of diamonds. The author wanted to let us know, that opportunity lurks in everyone´s backyard. It´s on us to discover the potential and explore the wealth.
My VALUE depends on the fact, that God placed His image on us, engraved on me. Like a coin has only value because it carries engraved the image of the King or Governor it represents, so we carry engraved His image and so are crowned with glory, honor and beauty.
We are HIS brand, His trademark. He assumes responsibility for our lives. Like a parent feels ownership and responsibility, how much more does God, our maker. He must protect and nurture His children.
God confirms my identity and commissions me to be am fruitful and creative with the resources He has entrusted me and so, fulfilling my godly purpose: “Be fruitful and multiply…” We are called to be stewards of our temple (our body, beauty and health) as well as our Time, Treasures, Talents.
God has delegated authority to us to care and steward what He has created. And we do it the same way He does- by being creative, life-giving people.
As a woman, living my godly purpose and beauty I adopt godly values and be the Queen, I was meant to be.
The story of Queen Esther is such an inspiring story and example, showing us the potential of a woman, who is willing to say YES!
♥What does Queen Esther’s Story teach me?
· She was an orphan.
· She was raised by her uncle.
· She was a Jew and lived as a foreigner in exile under foreign rule.
· She had to adapt to a foreign language and culture.
· She was taken against her will to be brought to the King´s harem.
♥There is this expression, that life doesn´t happen to us. It happens for us. How did life happen FOR her?
All these obstacles, the heat, the pressure, actually made her so prescious and beautiful from the inside out. They became stepping stones for her unique mission: to become and be the Queen of an world empire. That positioned her so she could save her people, the Jews, at some point later.
Like a gemstone, a diamond, needs to be polished in order to achieve its full radiance, so you and I have to go through processes of pressure and extreme heat to become as brilliant as Esther was. That is the material Queens are made of.
Looking back, what were the challenges and obstacles I have overcome and now can see as part of the polishing process of my character so I can become the Queen I am called to be.
You have a unique purpose for “such a time like this!”
You have all it takes to be the Queen you were meant to be!
Esther is confident yet humble = true beauty
♦Adopt a REGAL ATTITUDE and Values of a Queen!
This #30dayplanESTHER is a study of the book of Esther to encourage you to say YES to God's unique plan for your life. It encourages you become the Queen you are meant to be. You will develop a regal attitude and train “Esther values”, so can make "Esther choices".
To become an "Esther," I choose to develop "Regal Values" such as humility, obedience, respect, modesty, patience, and submission under authority. Further, I learn how to deal wisely with the gifts and talents and training God has bestowed on me for such a time as this. I say YES to embrace womanhood and develop the audacity to be the Queen, I was meant to be.
Queen Esther is our example and inspiration in
· Beauty Management
· Food Management
· Time Management
· Management of feminine super power
Esther is a woman like you and me. She had dreams like you and me. Can it be that my dreams are God's dreams? What am I dreaming about? God can do infinitely more than we dare to ask for or even dream of. (Read Ef 3:20).
A book in the Bible was named after this brave and beautiful woman. Ten chapters portray the life story of this Jewish Orphan that turned out to be a Queen.
I always wondered, what made Esther so special? It is her inner and outer beauty that made her outstanding:
· Her noble, regal attitude
· Her integrity, authenticity, excellence
· her courage,
· her faith,
· Her commitment
· her obedience,
· her willingness to submit and respect authority
· her softness and sweetness as a woman
· in saying YES to her femininity and to her Mission she developed godly Super Power
These priceless values also make me an outstanding woman. Esther is a woman like you and me, with whom God writes history. God had long since started writing her story before she even knew it. God is also at work with me and is writing my story. I can believe and trust him, that he makes the impossible possible for me at any time.
“God doesn’t scan the horizon for superwomen. He looks hard for women who will believe him and trust that he can do things that are humanly impossible, just as he did with Queen Esther.”
