From PRESSURE and HEAT to DIAMONDS.
From CATERPILLAR to BUTTERLFY.
🏜 “God doesn’t want you to remain trapped in the desert of life, full of pain and mental anguish.” That’s what Christine Caine says, who has experienced bad things herself
We all experience loss, pain, brokenness...in our lives.
🍂The question is not so much WHAT happened to me, but HOW we deal with it!
Do you feel like going a desert time? Do you feel the pressure, the heat, the thirst? Do you experience the pain of brokenness? Do you crave restauration and beauty?
Maybe you experienced rejection, your dreams and hopes crushed. Relationships you cherished fell into pieces. You´ve tried so hard to please everyone, but you feel burned out?
There have been moments in my life, I felt that way. I was in a dark and dry place. I saw no light, no hope. I remember crying out to the Lord: “I feel like I am dying inside. Restore me. Give me beauty. Somehow.”
What I didn´t realize, that this dark moment became one of the most crucial moments in my life. God actually answered to my cry. He restored my vision. I discovered my purpose: “Go and tell women all over the world, how precious and how beautiful they are in my eyes.” I felt like the butterfly, finally I had found my wings, so I could fly in the freedom God had made me for.
And so can you!!
🏜Desert times in life can be some of the most frightening, but they can also be the most fruitful times of our lives if we see them as an opportunity to grow.
Each of us can certainly talk about times in the desert. It is often only when I look back that I realize that these were the most fruitful times that brought me closest to God and gave my life a new direction.
But we must learn to accept such times and recognize what God wants to tell us.
🌵As Rick Warren put it: “We may be the product of our past, but we don’t have to be prisoners of it.”
Once we realize that life is not happening against us but FOR us, we will experience true beauty and limitless freedom. Then we will see for ourselves that God turns caterpillars into butterflies, sand into pearls, and coal into diamonds through the use of time and pressure. He's working on you too. (Rick Warren)
🌵Every pain experienced and overcome makes you stronger. Every rejection and every other painful experience becomes part of your story and therefore part of your message and your mission. What you like
©Think: Who could you help with what helped you?

This statement from Covey is accurate: “I am not the product of circumstances, but of the decisions I have made.”
♦Only those who understand WHO they are and WHY they are on earth are no longer dependent on comparing themselves with others. He is not dependent on the opinions of others. That's why it's so important that you understand your unique value, including the value of your own personal story. This has shaped you into the person you are today.
If you have found out WHY you experienced all of this, then you will have the answer (or at least part of it) to the question of the meaning of life. Studies have shown that what troubles people most at the end of their lives is the question: Why am I in this world? Have I really lived my purpose? It is the question of the meaning of their life.
🗺Our lives become meaningful when we understand that life happens FOR us and that everything makes sense from God's perspective.
Many people get stuck in the deserts of their life and that's why they can't define the vision for their life. They get stuck in their pain, because they live in the past. The body reacts to emotional pain with stomach pain, racing heart, high blood pressure, or other organs go on strike.
The way out of this desert is only possible if you learn to look ahead, to the "promised land". Leave your past behind you. Let it go because “old keys don’t open new doors!”

The process I went through and you probably had to go through reminds me of the Japanese art called “Kintsugi”?
If a vase or precious vessel of porcelain is broken, the Japanese don't just throw it away. They collect the fragments and glue them back together with precious metals. The cracks and gaps are filled with gold, resulting in:
♥The result: A unique work of art. There is no other of its kind. "It's amazing what God can do with the fragments of our lives if we leave them entirely to him."
Let God’s love and beauty fill in the cracks and gaps. “In difficult times carry something beautiful in your heart.” (Blaise Pascal *1623-1662)
♥Restoration is possible if you let God “glue the pieces of your broken hopes and dreams” with the precious gold and silver of His Love, Grace and Beauty. Like me, you can discover the beauty God wants to work in you and through you.
©Read and meditate on Ephesians 2:10. What does it mean that you are God´s masterpiece and that He has prepared your purpose in advance?_____________
You are God´s masterpiece, because of the unique spirit, personality, and gifts that have been uniquely wired into your being. Long before you were born, He already knew all about you - your strengths and weaknesses, your successes and failures. His genius plan includes you. Yes, you! He has prepared good things for you to step into meaningful relationships and impactful work. He is continually putting people and opportunities in your path, working inside of you, giving you the desire and power to do what pleases Him. He has empowered you to partner with Him as we experience the greatest LOVE story on earth.
©As you consider how God has intentionally designed you and placed you at his specific point in history, what passion has He placed in your heart? What has hindered you so far from going after your passion?
