“Be courageous and get in shape by getting in state”

Today I want to emphasize the importance of getting in shape. If you have no energy, you will have no joy, no motivation to change anything.

Have you ever tried to push a rope in front of you?

That is impossible.

Are you tired of trying? I will tell you a secret:

MOTION brings EMOTION!


It´s time to “Take Action”

People say knowledge is power. But knowledge alone is not enough. Without action the best knowledge is meaningless.

Now, you KNOW your body is a TEMPLE, given to you by God, and that it is your responsibility to take good care of it.

You know, that NO one will do the steps for you, right? You know that!

Some may say, “but is hard!” or “I don´t find time!” or it´s to hot or it´s too cold…what is your excuse?? We´ve lived for 5 years in Switzerland and one thing we learned from the Swiss is this: “There's no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing” ♦My CHALLENGE for you today is:

If not you, WHO will do the steps you know you should be doing?

I know it is hard. But let me tell you what really is hard: Not being well, having no energy, no joy, ….being sick!!! That is really hard. I have witnessed it for many years in my own family.

I had a sick mother, and seeing her suffer so much pain and waste away, eaten by cancer. THAT IS HARD. She passed away at a young age of 58. Just to give you an idea, I am 57 today. She looked like an old woman, unrecognizable, transfigured through this horrible sickness.

I also witnessed how hard it is to have DIABETES. I saw my Father suffering from it since he was in his 40ties. This sickness not only robbed him of so much quality of life, but it crippled him. With 70 he walked with lot of pain and he looked like a very old man!!

People kept telling me, “you will end up like your Mom, or like your Dad. You have their genes.” Yes, that is true. I have their genes. But I have good news for you. You and I, We don´t have to be a victim of our genes. We are the result of our lifestyle. An unhealthy and stressful lifestyle together with toxic thinking triggers your genes. But a healthy and fit lifestyle makes you thrive even in old age.

I have decided, to do the hard work and work on a healthy lifestyle every day. I am decided to do my part. And I tell you, it´s so worth it.

Today with 57 I feel even better then with 40. I love my life and what I do. I feel fit and healthy and super motivated. But yes, it is hard work.

And tell me something, is there anything good in life, that comes easy?

If you are a gardener, you know you won´t reap anything, if you don´t put in the work and prepare your garden and plant the seeds. But that is not enough, you have to take good care of your garden, while the plants are growing. You have to watch for weeds, for harmful insects, and only after weeks or even months of work, you can actually reap the fruit. RIGHT?

This principle applies to everything: to our MIND! …to your spiritual Fitness! To your physical Fitness and Health! Nothing comes from nothing. If you are just a consumer, NOTHING WILL CHANGE in your life. It is time to stop being only a consumer. Become a “Doer”.

♥How to get started?

The KEY is “CHANGE OF STATE”:

We KNOW, that integral health and balance starts with a healthy and renewed state of mind.

That´s why in my first module in #RISEwithSTYLE I focus on having a healthy mindset, developing a clear vision, and goal setting, so I can live my purpose. A healthy mind includes emotional, psychological and social well-being and affects how you think, feel and act. It works in unity with your body and influences how you handle stress, relate to others and make choices.


In order to have a healthy and balanced life it is time to take action and move your body. It´s time to get up from the sofa and leave your uncomfortable comfort zone. You were meant for so much more. God calls you to be a conqueror and adventurer for HIM. We were not made for a life on the sofa. Leave your comfort zone. Do the uncomfortable action. There is so much more waiting for you.

But it won´t happen, NOTHING will happen, if you don´t get your body into motion.


You say, you are too tired? …your brain feels foggy? …your body feels heavy and lethargic?


The best way to get new energy is to through motion!


Motion brings emotion and “when the body moves, the brain groves!” (Jim Kwik, who suffered a brain damage when he was a boy in Kindergarten. He has overcome his learning difficulties and now teaches the people all over the world how to become better learners.) There are no hopeless cases!!


♦What are the steps you can do?

Change your state through change of your PHYSIOLOGY:

INACTION results in NO ENERGY!

EMOTION and ENERGY is created by MOTION. Change the tempo of your voice, change your posture and gestures. Look, speak, act, think, stand like a victor and not like a victim.

And get your body into state: “Did you know that just taking a 30-minute walk after dinner can have a huge impact on regulation your blood sugar and reducing your risk to disease, and that helps your body become more insulin-sensitive, which means less body fat, less inflammation, and less belly fat?” (Dr. Mark Hyman)

He continues saying: “Exercise is a great way to activate all the pathways for longevity and health.

You can't exercise your weight out of a bad diet, but it can be a critical step to building muscle, building cardiovascular fitness, and regulating insulin.

Just start with doing something. If you’re already incorporating daily movement, you can try out something like high-intensity interval training. You can also strength train, which helps maintain and build muscle for longevity.”

What keeps you from getting your body in the best shape possible? Be strong and courageous! What is the one step you can do today? Which one will you take tomorrow. And don’t forget, what we don´t plan, won´t happen.
