Integral health begins with intentional temple care

Health is not a coincidence. It is a journey—and that journey begins with a decision.

My personal journey began through a deeply painful experience:My mother passed away at only 58 years old from cancer. The disease started in her stomach and spread throughout her entire body. It was a painful process—for her and for all of us as a family. In the end, she could no longer eat or drink. She was only skin and bones, enduring immense pain.

Later, when someone said to me:

“You will end up like your mother—you have her genes.”…it hit me deeply. I was 40 years old—and suddenly fear filled the room.

That was in 2005. I began searching. After months of reflection and prayer, a truth settled in my heart:

“You are not a victim of your genes—you are the designer of your health.”

Christian neuroscientist Dr. Caroline Leaf confirms this:

“We are not victims of our genes. We are the result of our thoughts, choices, and habits.”
It is never to late to get started. I started this holistic journey to health with 40. With 50 I ran my first half-marathon. Now, turning 60 I wonder what will come next?!!

How comforting—and at the same time, how challenging.

Disease is not simply fate. Genes can be activated—or kept dormant.

And this is influenced by how we:

🌿 eat

🧠 think and feel

🚶‍♀️ live

😌 manage stress

🙏 stay connected to God

Your body is a temple—not an accident

Today I understand: God did not create us powerless.

Our body is not a mistake. It is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Every area of our life is connected.

What weakens the body and “triggers” unhealthy genes?

  • too much sugar and gluten

  • highly processed foods

  • unhealthy fats

  • stress & lack of movement

  • unprocessed emotional burdens

👉 The result can be:inflammation, intolerances, hormonal imbalances, exhaustion, skin issues, digestive problems, cardiovascular disease, depression, diabetes, and more.

What heals and strengthens?

  • 🌿 real, natural foods—from God’s pharmacy

  • 🥑 healthy fats, fiber, bitter foods, herbs

  • 🚶‍♀️ movement in nature

  • 😴 rest & sleep

  • 🤍 emotional healing (through forgiveness and understanding your identity in Christ)

  • 🙏 gratitude & worship—bringing peace to the nervous system

Holistic health = temple care, including body, soul, and spirit.

Temple care is a daily decision

True health means bringing body, soul, and spirit into alignment. And it all begins in your mind.

5 Keys to mental and spiritual strength

  1. Know your value

You are a masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10).

  2. Honor your body

It belongs to God and is precious (1 Corinthians 6:19–20).

  3. Stop toxic thoughts

    Train your mind in gratitude.

  4. Leave the victim mindset

With God’s help, you are an overcomer.

  5. Take responsibility

Your daily decisions shape your life.

👉 What you don’t plan will not happen.

Start small—think long-term

  • Where do you want to begin?

  • What could be your first step?

  •  It’s the small daily steps that create lasting transformation.

If you take just one step each day—how many steps will that be in a year?

This is exactly the journey I guide you through in my coaching program:
